Yes. France requires the deceased to be transported in a hermetically sealed coffin that meets international aviation standards. Embalming is generally mandatory for long-distance repatriation, and our team ensures all procedures comply with both UK and French regulations.
Human remains entering France must go through customs clearance at the airport of arrival. Harmony International prepares all documentation in advance and coordinates with French customs and health authorities to ensure a smooth and timely process.

When a loved one dies outside of their country of residence, it can be a confusing and complicated situation, however rest assured we will be by your side throughout and liaise with all relevant parties to gather all the relevant documentation required to arrange flights back to the UK.
Once back in the UK we will arrange the transfer of your loved one from the airport to our care, and from there we can begin making funeral arrangement plans.
