Yes. Remains must be transported in a hermetically sealed coffin that meets both international standards and Namibia’s entry regulations. Harmony International supplies fully compliant coffins as part of our service.
Certainly. Many families choose to hold a ceremony or private viewing before transportation. We coordinate with local funeral directors to ensure the arrangements are smooth and respectful.
Yes. We work directly with the Namibian Consulate to secure permits and clearances, ensuring all legal requirements are met without unnecessary stress for families.
Absolutely. While Windhoek is a main point of entry, we organise onward transport to Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Rundu, and other towns across Namibia.
The cost depends on factors like flight routes, coffin specifications, and the final destination. We provide clear, itemised quotations tailored to each case.
We will discuss your particular case, as different countries will have different regulations and processes. As a general guide we recommend:
When a loved one dies outside of their country of residence, it can be a confusing and complicated situation, however rest assured we will be by your side throughout and liaise with all relevant parties to gather all the relevant documentation required to arrange flights back to the UK.
Once back in the UK we will arrange the transfer of your loved one from the airport to our care, and from there we can begin making funeral arrangement plans.
